This loved up couple are two beautiful human beings. We were invited to photograph their wedding up in the mountains at Piano Flat on February 7, as well as a pre-wedding shoot to make the most of this stella location.
Typically we photograph weddings where we spend the day with the bride and groom getting ready, front run them to the ceremony, take family portraits then disappear for more artful images with the bridal party. Meanwhile, friends and family are left meandering at reception patiently awaiting the return of the bride and groom. Dave & Chrissi took a different approach. ‘Let’s get the photos of us ahead of our wedding day so we can maximise the time we have with our friends and family who have travelled so far to be with us’.
It was the perfect scenario. We got to have fun with them high up in the mountains watching a spectacular setting sun, then come back on wedding day to capture their ceremony. Lucky us - we got to hang out with them twice!
